FALL 2026 COMPETITIVE TEAM:

Registration open 7/20. A late registration fee will be applied automatically after Friday 8/21, and registration will officially close Thursday 8/27. 

1) ANTICIPATED PRACTICE TIMES:

PLEASE NOTE: ATHLETES ARE EXPECTED AT PRACTICE SIX DAYS A WEEK. Racing opportunities and boat assignments will directly align to attendance, including trailer loading/unloading shifts and rigging/derigging duties. Excessive and/or unexcused absences may lead to dismissal from the program with no refunds given.

Monday-Friday: 5:00-7:30pm

Sunday: 8:00-10:30am

• VARSITY TEAM first official practice: Monday 8/31
• NOVICE TEAM first official practice: Tuesday 9/8

2) PRACTICE LOCATIONS: Location schedule will be clarified by Coach Carroll ASAP.

• ON WATER PRACTICE FACILITY: Camden County Boathouse @ 7050 North Park Drive in Pennsauken, NJ 
• INDOOR PRACTICE FACILITY: Moorestown Mall @ 400 W. Route 38 in Moorestown, NJ 

3) COMPETITIVE TEAM FEE:

• Fall '26 Competitive Team: $1,500
  • When checking out, you can choose to pay in full or in installments.

• If registering after Friday 8/21: $1,650 (late fee applied automatically)

4) TRYOUTS — ALL Novice athletes as well as Varsity athletes new to CJRC will undergo a 2-week tryout period from Tuesday, 9/8 through Friday, 9/18. CJRC coaches will assess each new participant's athleticism using a comprehensive review of various factors relevant to the sport of rowing. Following the tryout period, athletes subject to the provision who are approved for the Competitive team will be notified and allowed to continue with the Fall season. All others who do not make the Competitive team will be notified and refunded fully, minus $75 which will be withheld as an Evaluation Fee. All determination of the participant's athleticism and ability to participate with the competitive team is based on coaches assessment, and is final.

 

FALL 2026 OPTIONAL PRESEASON:

For returning CJRC Varsity athletes only! Not for Fall '26 Novice athletes or Varsity athletes new to CJRC. This registration will close Friday 8/21.

• Time: 5:00-7:30pm
• Dates: Monday, August 24th — Friday, August 28th
• Cost: $75 for the 1-week Preseason session, to be paid in full at time of registration. No refunds, proration, or future credits.
